Pack 89 held it annual Blue and Gold Dinner. This is the event where our Webelos II scouts “bridge up” to being boy scouts. Our seven Webelos II Scouts went to BSA Troops 489 and 1776.
Our Bear Den built bird feeders. This helped to fulfill the “Baloo The Builder” requirement, where the scouts learn about hand tools, and use them on a building project.
Our Scouts Visited the Flagtown Firehouse and learned about being a firefighter.
Our Wolf Den (and their siblings) packed over 100 healthy meals for Samaritan Homeless Interim Project (SHIP), which provided services to those in need. For more information on this organization, please see http://ship908.com
Pack 89 held its annual Pinewood Derby at the Municipal Building. Our Scouts camped overnight on the Battleship NJ. As part of the encampment, scouts were given a tour of the ship, got to hear stories about it service in the Navy, and sleep in the same bunks as the sailors did.
