For our December Pack Meeting, we watched a very fun and interesting Zoom magic show starring Conrad Cologne. You can find more information on his shows here.
The Jack-O-Lantern contest was so much fun we couldn’t wait an entire year for another contest, so we challenged our scouts of decorate their bedroom door for the holidays. Please see their creations.

Did you know the Hillsborough Food Bank collects and distributes more than just food? The food bank told us they also distribute clothing, and that there was a shortage of socks.
So this year, our scouts undertook a sock drive to collect new sock for donation…and what a success it was!!!!!! Our scouts collected 1445 pairs of new socks to be distributed to families in need.
GREAT JOB SCOUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our Scouts have been hard at work creating creative Jack-O-Lanterns. Enjoy the galleries below…if you dare!!!
The new scout year has begun, and Pack 89 started it off with a hike at the Sourland Mountain Preserve. We had great weather and a great turnout.

Pack 89 ended a very unusual scouting year with a celebration of the scouts as they moved up to their next rank, while a few moved on to Boy Scouts. As with all of our recent Pack Meetings this meeting also held via Zoom.
Pack 89 kept the scouting year rolling while maintaining social distancing by holding its first every BINGO night (with the help of Zoom). Winners received an Amazon Gift Card.
At all levels of scouting, scouts are encouraged to do community service projects and support the local community.
Pack 89 would also like to announce that the pack will donate $1000 to our local Hillsborough community. We have spoken with our Mayor and our local township Committee, and have been assured our donation will go directly to the Community Assistance Network to help our local residents that are in need of food and other basic essentials.
COVID 19 has made it challenging to continue our Scouting activities, but scouts love a challenge. Thanks to Zoom, our Dens continue to meet regularly and work on badge requirements.
