One of the requirements for the Bear Rank is to hold a fundraiser. Our Bear Den chose to organize a carnival to raise money for Autism Speaks. The scouts organized many games including Corn Hole, Ring Toss, Nerf Gun Targets, Nature Trivia, Lawn Bowling, Bottle Flipping, Paper Airplane Toss, Ladder Ball, Jokes and Memory Game.
At the Webleo 1 Den meeting, one of our scouts, who is an ace rubik-cuber, held a tutorial and demonstration for his den. He shared his collection of different sizes and types of Rubik cubes, and gave a tutorial on strategies for solving a Rubik Cube. He finished off the meeting by demonstrating how he can solve a 3×3 Rubik cube in just over 30 seconds.
