Scouting Continues…Thanks to Zoom
COVID 19 has made it challenging to continue our Scouting activities, but scouts love a challenge. Thanks to Zoom, our Dens continue to meet regularly and work on badge requirements.
March 7, 2020 – Dukes Farm Hike
With the weather getting warmer, we held our first of a series of spring hikes at Dukes Farms. The weather cooperated, and we had a beautiful sunny, warm day.
February 28, 2020 – Pinewood Derby
Pack 89 held it annual Pinewood Derby at the municipal building again. The scouts got to race the cars that had worked hard on the past few months, and vote on the car the though looked the coolest. January 5 2020 – Applebee’s Fundraiser
Pack 89 held it annual Applebee’s Breakfast Fundraiser on Sunday, January 5, 2020. The scouts had a great time taking order and serving our guests.
December 7, 2019 – Operation Shoebox
November 15, 2019 – Mayor DelCore and “Freddy”
At our November Pack Meeting, we were visited by Mayor DelCore. Afterwards, the boys got to see a demonstration from “Freddy” the police dog and a Somerset County SWAT truck
November 8, 2019 – Hillsborough Community Assistance Network (CAN)
Our Pack collected canned goods for the Hillsborough Community Assistance Network (CAN). In all, the scouts were able to collet 267 items to donate.
November 3, 2019 – Dukes Farm Hike
Pack 89 held its last weekend hike of the fall at Dukes Farm. Though it was a bit cold, the scouts had a great time exploring Dukes Farm. For more information, please see https://dukefarms.org
