Calling all boys and girls in Hillsborough, NJ!


Cub Scout Pack 89 invites kids in grades K–5 to join us for fun, friendship, and unforgettable adventures.

Why Join Scouting?

Scouting is all about exploring the outdoors, developing leadership skills, giving back to the community — and most of all, having fun while living the values of the Scout Law.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Hands-on Activities that help kids explore the world around them

  • A Positive Environment that encourages goal-setting and achievement

  • Fun Without Pressure: no competition, just discovery and teamwork

What Do Scouts Do?

Scouts learn by doing, and we do a lot! Our yearly calendar is packed with exciting events like:

  • 🎣 Fishing Derby

  • 🌲 Spring Family Camping

  • 🚶 Nature Hikes

  • 🏎️ Pinewood Derby

  • 🎉 Blue & Gold Dinner

  • ❤️ Community Service Projects

  • 🏞️ Pack Outings

  • 💤 Winter Sleepover

From building things to exploring nature, Scouts experience it all and make lifelong friends along the way.

Who Can Join & When?

All children (boys and girls) in Kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 5–10) are welcome.
Scouting runs from September through June, with new dens forming every September.

  • Dens (small grade-level groups) meet twice a month (once a month for Kindergarten)

  • The Pack (the whole group) meets once a month

🎉 Parents & guardians: Our pack thrives thanks to volunteer support. We’d love to have your help!

Ready to Join?

The total annual dues is approximately $200.  Two thirds of the cost goes to Scouting America and our local Council (Patriot’s Path Council).  The last third (Pack Dues) directly helps our pack to provide the full scouting program, awards and badges, etc.
